Vegetarian diet Research Paper

My topic for the research paper is, “What affect does a vegetarian diet have on the risk of illnesses and fatal diseases? Should a vegetarian diet be encouraged for Americans? And how would the world be affected with a world wide vegetarian diet?”. My paper is focusing on these three topics and in order to adequately answer all three I needed a source that covered the history of vegetarianism, what it is, and what benefit it brings us. I have many sources about what a vegetarian is and what types there are, and I have found a great source for the history as well as the benefits. I think my paper is lacking a source that talks about how the world would be affected. If the whole world was vegetarian there would be benefits but of course there would also be issues. I can imagine it being hard for some people in lower class areas to become vegetarian because of the cost but I haven’t been able to find a good source on this topic that can be easily worked into my research paper. My paper is set up in sections pertaining to each separate question of my thesis so I would be able to either make a new section for this source or work in in among the ones that already exist. In my paper I have already covered the different types of vegetarians, the history, and the benefits, so it would probably be easiest for me to make a new section about how the world would be affected. I could talk about what it would do to the economy, animal population, and overall health of the world.
