Antibiotics

My research topic is about the use of antibiotics in our food animals, and if it affects our health. Antibiotics are commonly used in our food animals to aid their diseases due to the mass growing of them in small areas. In other words, they are a way to keep as many animals alive to save money. They are mass producing these food animals, and keeping them alive in these harsh conditions because of antibiotics; however, do these antibiotics bring any harm to us? The answer is yes. What I want to find out is if it is safe to use them. Research has found out that using antibiotics can lead to bacterial resistance, which means it would be harder for the animals to fight against sickness. This can spread to us humans if we eat animals that were grown with antibiotics. I want to find out if companies are still using antibiotics, and what they would do if they got banned from being used in our food creation process. The main goal of these food companies is to profit as much as they can as fast as they can, and without these antibiotics to help, it would take longer. I want to spread my research to other areas such as GMOs, because they also pose risks to our health. I will change my research paper question and try to find the risks of growth produced animals in all areas, not just antibiotics.
