GM Oh My Goodness

The topic that I choose for my research paper is what are the negative effects of GMO's on both the environment and human body and how can we stray away from using them. We know that GMO's are used profoundly in commercial agriculture although we do not really know what can happen from using them too much. Through my research I hope to find out exactly what the negative side-effects of GMO's are and if the benefits are really worth it. I would say that my research is falling short as of now because there is a lot to cover when talking about GMO's, there is no clear answer if good or bad to use them since there are many factors that you have to take into consideration. Some of those factors would be things such as pesticide and herbicide use as well as the final product of genetically modified versus non modified crops. It is difficult to find research on this topic and what I want to specifically write about because many of the articles I find go on to talk about information that wasn't what I really wanted. A question that I would like to open up to the class is what kind of information would be useful for the reader to know when on the topic of GMO's. Thanks buddies ;)
