It seems as though the only time we hear of anonymity is when it is being presented as negative. We really seem to view the world by its negatives and never appreciate the positivity. Anonymity is not all negative and doesn't always mean there are sour intentions behind anonymity. However, we are wired to only give credit to those who express it in forms of negativity. For example, we only hear the bad parts of the world being brought up into the news, and the bad things is what goes viral, when someone gets shot, or the corrupt cop, or the one person in the group that ruined everything. We never hear about the good that comes behind people who are anonymous. Like the lady in the drive thru who paid for your Starbucks or the person from the UK who comments on your desperate Tumblr posts. We don't hear about the plus side of things because people are scared of happiness. People rather see things crash and burn than see things in bubbles and sparkles. Someone will always be unhappy with someone Else's happiness because they are too scared to accept their own happiness first. We all attack each other at some point and not always is it anonymous. It could be when you talked about the girl who wore Crocs to school, or the girl who got back with her ex, or when you called a girl a "hoe" simply because she wore something that YOU didn't approve of. We are entitled to our own opinions and that is why conflict will always be boiling somewhere deep down. But we are also kind-hearted, like when you leave a hamburger on a light post for the homeless man you are too scared to get close too, or when you pay for someones meal because it is Christmas time. We are responsible for what information we choose to give out, but we are also responsible to how we respond and which information we choose to highlight. I dont think all anonymity is bad, but the one percent we choose to acknowledge is all negative and that is why we continue to live in a negative society.
