Social media allows people not only to make their own choices but to show what kind of person they are. Positivity flows also through social media. There are people who quote bible verses or other quotes to just encourage others but maybe they need something uplifting themselves . It's Win-Win situation , another way a person can respond to a evil troll, is by simply replying with kind words. That may get the troll to reach for a different outcome, a more positive outcome.
I see people trying to lift each other up all the time on social media and it is a good thing. I agree with you on responding with kind words, this is a much better way to go about things rather than trying to respond out of hurt or anger which only helps the troll accomplish what he/she wanted in the first place.
ReplyDeleteyes,i agree on the part where social media allows people to make their own choices. Due to the choices these people make is how online use is affected. Spreading kindness is a good way to interact online and spread positivity but I feel like trolls would take it as a joke, well some of them. They probably think kindness doesn't even exist. Most trolls act the way they do because they grew up or experienced something that caused them to start trolling on other victims. However even if you try spreading kindness at one point it just fades off.
ReplyDeleteI could see why it can help because in the end people that troll are people too that can feel guilty about what they've done.
ReplyDeleteEveryday I see on social media people uplifting other people spirits. Sometimes I try and put scriptures on Twitter and Instagram, for the people who doesn't know GOD. I agree with you Sim, about uplifting people spirits in the day and night.
