food 4 thought

This is probably going to come across as harsh or mean, but bare with me. Hopefully it'll make sense. And if it doesn't, ahhhh sorry. This is also in reference to high school trolling and internet drama, not serious stuff like Zelda Williams.

I honestly think how you deal with internet crap is a reflection of yourself and your self image. If you can't handle the petty stuff online, you shouldn't be online. Sorry if that sounds mean. I understand that sometimes  the things people say are mean, we all remember oogle lmao. But everyone is always going to have something to say, yanno? Whether that be on the internet or in their minds or to your face. And everything said isn't always going to be nice, that's kind of just the way the world works. Not everyone is your bff, not everyone is nice. And your job isn't to respond to this stuff or to let any of this get to you. Your job is to internalize and move on. Words are obviously powerful, sticks and stones ya feeeel, but how much power they hold against you is entirely up to you. If what is going on online is effecting your outside life, log awf. If what is going on online is effecting your self image, log. awf. Again, people are mean, but why should that suade your mood and the way you see yourself?? If you're not stable within yourself and you aren't mentally strong in the way you see yourself, obviously this stuff is gonna bother you. It definitely used to bother me haha. Knowing people were talking about me negatively, or just the sole fact that they used to know my business actually tore me down??? I WAS SUCH A SAD LITTLE BABY HAHAHAHA???? And then I was like, "hey I honestly cannot care anymore." Because ????? I'm still going to be me and be doing me whether people are talking about me or tweeting about me so why should I care? Now I see at least one subtweet about me everyday and it doesn't really bother me because I know I'm pretty kick a$$ and if no one else sees that at least I do lmao. And my mom. Shoutout to my mom. What I'm trying to get at is keep doing you. No one is gonna help you be you, and not everyone is going to like you for being you. Just keep doing it because at the end of the day you're the source of your happiness. Not what those little lames are saying on twitter. They're on twitter and obviously not in your life for a reason, they bring nothing to the table but some subwteets. So keep on building yourself up and your self image up.

  1. The words that are being typed will greatly affect the reader, and determine the characteristic of that person posting online. Although trolling is a form of free speech, I agree that people need to really watch what they are typing.
