Comment revision
While reading the room for debate articles, it was made apparent that many people and many platforms have tried to make improvements to the online experience while allowing users to maintain their anonymous identity. I think the scenario I most agreed with was the preview and revise of comments before they were posted. This way, users still have the chance to express how they feel about certain topics and have the protection of not having to reveal their true identity. However, it also protects the author of the piece commenters are adding to from receiveing serious backlash for whatever they chose to write about. If any part of their comment seems cruel or inappropriate then they should have the ability to revise what they're saying in order to be able to share their opinion without negatively affecting anyone. If this method were to be applied then I presume unnecessary arguments would be made less likely and debates and discussions on a thread of comments would relate more to the topic discussed instead of responding to a "troll."
