This article's main purpose is to show people how gmo corn is linked to cancer. They fed rats nothing but gmo corn and they saw a rapid growth in the rats having cancerous tumors. Rats are used for these experiments because they are the closest genetically to humans. 50% of the male rats and 70% of female rats died a premature death. So I wonder is that the same for humans. In the article we find out its not all gmo corn just the ones grown in Northern California. This is the same corn used in cereal. chips, and tortillas. The experts in this article say its the pesticides in the corn that is causing the tumors. Most of these cancers from gmo corn is causing tumors in the kidneys and liver. Overall, this article was really helpful so I'll be using it in my research paper.
